ffilm.org is a Welsh creative infrastructure founded and directed by Toby Godden. Operating since 2001, it spans screen production, browser-based interactive systems, literary fiction, electronic music, live performance, and social platforms. This document is a register of original intellectual property currently in active development or available for co-production.
Autobiographical documentary essay-film. A man films the sale of his family home on a mobile phone while gradually realising the house was never the true inheritance — the real inheritance is a hand-painted wardrobe belonging to his mother. Shot in portrait orientation as a formal commitment to phone-native cinema. Existing rough cut: approximately two hours across Abercrave, Bristol, Cardiff, and Brecon. The eventual plan: load the wardrobe into a Luton van and continue filming across Britain. A continuity engine travelling in portrait orientation.
Welsh: Time Police. Two retired time war veterans document visits to Welsh towns as tourism content — beneath which accumulates deep time travel lore. Shot on iPhones across Welsh and border locations. Tone: Detectorists — slow, melancholic, grounded. Five-part series. Written pilot (Ep2: "Ty Chwech"). Currently seeking drama commissioner and producing partner.
A man immobilised by depression in a Swansea tower block is visited by a seven-year-old who claims to be his future daughter. She has come back to tell him something — and she is running out of time. Fully scripted. Budget: approximately £10,000. BFI Beacons application in preparation. The originating short film in the Alys & Friends world.
A youth ensemble drama — the young entry point into the Time Travellers Guild universe. Five young people from Swansea who stumble into the Guild's field operations and are recruited as observers. Procedural supernatural drama with Welsh specificity and genuine warmth. Younger sibling of Heddlu Amser; the two projects build each other's audience. Currently concept stage pending Alys short.
A time-travelling Guild operative is summoned by the Welsh goddess Arianrhod to correct her own mistranslation across centuries. She has been remembered through wound alone. 12,000 words. The Time Travellers Guild universe in literary form. Izi Freeman is summoned — but the story he expects (the quest, the seven wives, the resurrection) is named on the page and refused in real time. Every woman in the book diagnoses the narrative gravity men carry with them through time. Literary fiction with Welsh specificity and mythological precision. First three chapters submitted to Curtis Brown Literary Agency, May 2026.
A children's picture book encoding the A.R.T. framework (Active, Receptive, Transient) through accessible character work. The book teaches children to name their modes without pathologising difference. Publisher interest confirmed. Currently seeking illustrator.
173-page TTG universe document. In-world broadcasts, a children's story, drama scripts including the 6-episode biographical series Godden the First, and a cultural platform proposal. The title: 13 resembles B in a certain light. Day One of an ongoing series. A world-bible that reads as a transmission.

It is a social technology: a framework for helping people collectively suspend the inherited assumptions that trap them inside futures built from the broken fragments of past mistakes. Stand in front of the Synchronicity Engine and you see yourself — but not only yourself. Beneath you, in the same image, are the traces of everyone who stood here minutes ago. The system captures live video, compresses it progressively, and feeds the result back into itself. Each cycle adds another layer of recent history. The image becomes a live object that holds time inside itself as it is being made. A practical time machine operating in a room with people in it. A triangular instrument built from wood, drumskin, and string — first conceived 2004, now extended with exciter/transducer speakers and piezo pickups. The distance between exciter and piezo determines feedback pitch: physical geometry as tuning mechanism. A fixed triangle has fixed possible pitches determined by its own proportions. Three Trianglas with different geometries produce three distinct feedback personalities. Built for immersive audio installation contexts.
A completed browser-based and physical installation working with the BBC Shipping Forecast as a text structure for spatial audio and contemplative experience. Available for touring and contextual reimplementation.
Invite-only micro social network. Capped at 100 members. Features: image posts, YouTube embeds, nested replies, friendship synastry. Launched March 2026. Built on ffilm.org infrastructure, migrated to own domain. An experiment in intentional social architecture: what happens when a platform is small enough to be genuinely social?
A webcam observes a space and generates real-time poetic text in response to what it sees. Two-stage AI pipeline: grounded vision pass followed by prose pass. The poem is always about what is actually in front of it, now. A tool for attending to the present moment through language.
Medical training tool using WebGL2 and ElevenLabs Conversational AI. Full session state machine with audio blending between ambient and conversational layers. Demoed to client in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, 2026. Demonstrates ffilm.org's capability for high-spec commissioned interactive work.
One-page band site builder. A musician enters their information and immediately has a shareable, designed page linking to their music. Built for speed, readability, and mobile. Procrastinatrix is the live homepage example.

A series of browser-based TTG performance and VJ tools including scan-line image processors, temporal HUD interfaces, and immersive interactive narratives (including Y Byncar — a 25-minute solo choice-driven piece set in an undecommissioned installation). Built as living artefacts of the TTG universe rather than documentation of it.
444+ recorded tracks. 13 albums. BBC Radio Wales airplay. Electronic music as a 20-year sonic journal of emergent consciousness in the Tawe Valley. The archive constitutes ffilm.org's primary sound library and is available for licensing, sync, and soundtrack work.
Browser-based generative instrument. Granular synthesis, plate reverb, and microphone-activity-triggered resampling. The room itself becomes part of the instrument. Available as a standalone web experience and as a component for live and installation contexts.
Active / Receptive / Transient — three equal modes on a triangle, with time as the fourth dimension. An archetypal layer adds Goddess / CEO / Slayer, producing nine compound states. Developed as a practical daily tool: name your current mode and force, combine them, choose one action. Embedded in ego & etô as a children's framework. Not escape from reality. Participation in emergence. The future exerts pressure backwards into the present. Imagined futures alter present behaviour before they materially exist. Imagination is a guidance system — not decoration, not escapism. If you can collectively imagine something clearly enough, emotionally enough, relationally enough, you begin orienting toward it. You start recognising clues in the present moment. The Future leaves gifts in the Present. The Time Travellers Guild is a social technology for practicing this collectively.
The formal commitment underlying WARDROBE. Portrait orientation is not a gimmick — it is a decision rooted in contemporary perception. It shares its orientation with FaceTimes, social feeds, livestreams, messages, scrolling, and mobile witnessing. The cinematic language that emerges from these forms is not inferior to inherited film-industry grammar. It is different, and it is native to the time being documented.
