Some work doesn't sit inside a single medium.

It starts with a place, a person, a question — and it moves through film, software, writing, and live action until it finds its shape.

What you're looking at isn't a studio in the usual sense. It's a place where worlds get built, tested, and shared.

Time Travellers Guild

The Guild is the spine of everything here.

It's a working framework for building narrative, place, and participation across formats — grown through years of writing, performance, and real-world production.

Part mythology. Part method. Part way of working together.

The central idea is simple:

Time is not evenly distributed. And once you notice that, everything shifts.

The Guild runs through all of this — from film development to documentary to live location work. It's not a brand or a franchise. It's a way of paying attention to how reality organises itself.

These are current manifestations.

Arianrhod

A feature film in development.

Drawn from the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogion — Arianrhod of the silver wheel — and grounded in Swansea.

The mythological layer isn't decoration. It's an active force being reawakened inside a living city.

Treatment complete. Targeting Ffilm Cymru Wales.

Heddlu Amser

A documentary series tracking the discovery of Arianrhod in real time.

One episode per month. Shot on location. Small crew. No gap between research and production — the making is the finding.

This isn't coverage of a project. It's part of the project.

Series one underway

Ffilm Clŵb

Open community filmmaking at Ystradgynlais Welfare Hall.

No gatekeeping. No spectator mode.

If you want to make something, come and make it.

Faetime

A live micro social network built from scratch. Real-time, intimate, intentional — no algorithm, no feed optimisation, capped membership. An answer to the question of what a social network would look like if it was designed for people rather than engagement.

Launched March 2026.

Zoneout

Collaborative SoundCloud listening rooms. Shared queue, shared presence, WebGL2 visualiser. The idea that listening together is different from listening alone — and that the web should be able to hold that.

PalmSynth

A theremin in the browser, played with your hands via webcam. No hardware. Gesture-based music generation using MediaPipe hand tracking. Point at the screen and make sound.

Emergent Divergent

An ongoing creative collaboration with VJ (Emergent Divergent) — building tools and platforms for neurodivergent talent.

Toby Godden

Developer, musician, writer, and creative technologist based in Abercrave, Upper Swansea Valley.

Twenty years building systems that ship — from live social platforms to AI tools to long-form narrative and film development.

The ideas don't fit inside one medium, so the work moves across them.

FFILM.org is where it all lives.
