FFILM.org
Abercrave · Wales

FFILM is the public workspace for a Wales-based web and film practice — interactive systems you can open in a browser, film work in development, and finished pieces hosted here.

It's run by founder Toby Godden from Abercrave: building interactive web systems, developing film work, and turning complex ideas into finished work.

Hosted here — open, inspectable, in progress where noted.

Ffilm Clŵb

A local filmmaking collective based in Ystradgynlais. Open and practical: work grows through showing up, meeting, and making together.

Vivarium

A browser-based simulation environment — part artwork, part system, part experiment.

Shipping Forecast

Generative sound work for the web. Radio forecast data turned into atmosphere — an ongoing experiment in signal and listening.

Dungeon

A voice-based interactive web experiment.

Synchronicity Engine

A live performance system in development for stage. Sound, cueing, timing, presence.

Projects with concrete materials — scripts, treatments, scheduled process.

Alys

Short film in development. Screenplay complete; director's treatment complete. The full screenplay is published as a page on FFILM.

Ffilm Clŵb Productions

Community-led production through the club — shorts and exercises developed collectively in Ystradgynlais, with public screenings as work finishes.

Separate sites built alongside this practice — not hosted on FFILM, but part of the same thread of work.

Zoneout

Collaborative listening rooms for shared SoundCloud playback — queue, presence, and a shared room state on the web.

Faetime

A small social network meant for actual connection — capped membership, no engagement-optimised feed.

Emergent Divergent

An ongoing collaboration with VJ (Emergent Divergent): tools and platforms shaped around neurodivergent makers.

Time Travellers Guild

Optional context — not required to read the site. The Guild is the longer-running narrative framework behind some of this work: mythology as method, and a shared language for thinking about time, place, and production.

If you want the deeper layer, it's here.
