About this scheme

The NextGen Fund offers grants of up to £3,000 for young creatives aged 18 to 25 (or up to 30 for those who identify as d/Deaf, Disabled or neurodivergent) in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

Supports young people at the start of their music careers to develop creative projects and build sustainable pathways in the industry. Fundable activities include creating new music, live performance, professional development and equipment.

Round 14 runs 28 August–25 September 2026. Previous rounds have supported hundreds of young musicians across the UK. Part of Youth Music's broader funding portfolio including the Trailblazer Fund and Catalyser Fund for organisations.
