About this scheme
North Star Shorts is part of Screen Scotland's Talent Builder programme, delivered with Take Three. It offers early-career Scotland-based writer/director/producer teams the opportunity to make a first fully funded short fiction film.
The scheme targets bold new voices in Scottish cinema and includes structured production support. Delivered alongside other Take Three strands including The Bigger Picture and Next Wave.
Scotland residency/base requirements apply. Teams should demonstrate readiness to shoot a funded short with professional production support.
