About this scheme
Green Lit is a collaboration between Northern Ireland Screen and BBC Northern Ireland to support emerging NI-resident writing, directing, producing and acting talent through three standalone scripted comedy or drama productions for BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC iPlayer.
Submissions are from production companies with a substantive NI base. Six projects receive funded development (£10,000 each); three proceed to production. Projects act as proof-of-concept for potential longer-form BBC commissions.
