About this scheme
The Music Revenue Fund helps music businesses in Wales improve their commercial outlook and sustainability. Grants of £20,000–£40,000 are available for businesses facing financial constraints.
Focus areas include campaigns for new releases, promoting live music, sync and catalogue music for media use, and Welsh-language music. Applicants must demonstrate their main function is working with musicians on promotion, syncing or releasing recorded music commercially.
Covers contemporary popular music genres. Not for classical or jazz businesses. Not for individual bands — business owners responsible for running the business must apply. Previous recipients include The Road Records (Carmarthenshire).
