Here's the astrology app I just finished. It calls the ephemeris based on your birth data, analyses your question, queries the ephemeris data deterministically so that the ai doesn't get confused by the huge amount of datapoints, and then an llm describes the implications of the data to answer any question you might have. astro does use ai but i've coded it to be as deterministic as possible, using php and maths to make sure that it's calculating all the data from the ephemeris before piping only what is nessecary to the llm to process into sentences.

I thought I'd finished it, then i checked some of it's statements and started asking it questions it didn't know - retrogrades, yods, baskets. It was guessing in places. Really stripped down the amount of ai in the chain, it's now deterministic in all but the sentence formation, using php to craft the data the specific question calls for using the ephemeris and lots of lovely maths. It's now a pretty reliable tool. Occasionally it overeggs the 'significance' of various combinations and transits
